The Right Teacher

Dedication. Expertise. Passion.

Finding the right teacher is one of the most crucial decisions in a student's musical journey. Just like in an academic setting, a teacher has the potential to help a student grow. This is why it is so important for the student to click with their teacher and build a relationship.

At Elisa Girlando Studios, the teachers are dedicated to connecting with their student and inspiring a passion for learning and creating music.

Elisa Girlando

Studio Owner, Teacher

Growing up with a father that was in the music business, Elisa was introduced to the world of music at a very young age. She began taking vocal lessons at age seven to refine her sound and learn the proper techniques, and since then, she has dedicated her life to perfecting her craft and sharing it with her students.

Elisa’s singing career began at the age of twelve, when she signed a deal to record multiple children and holiday albums. By the time she reached college, she had her own band and quickly got picked up with a distribution deal with SONY RED (Sony Music).  So far, she released two albums under SONY RED. Additionally, Elisa’s voice has been featured on numerous national TV commercials, including the Claritin commercial singing the classic song, "I Can See Clearly Now."

But Elisa’s love for singing doesn’t stop there, she is also extremely passionate about teaching. She founded EGS in 2005, and since then, has helped countless students fulfill their potential as a musician. What sets Elisa apart from other vocal coaches is her incorporation of the recording studio as a learning tool, which is proven to be immensely beneficial to a student’s growth. Additionally, studio members get countless opportunities to participate in live performances because Elisa understands the importance of stage presence to a musician’s growth and confidence.

Noise Controller

Music Producer

David Carden, AKA Noise Controller is E.G.S. Music Producer. His career has spanned over the past several decades as a DJ, music producer and recording engineer. David has done remixes for Brian McKnight, India Arie and 702. He has recorded original songs with Bebe Winans and Angel DeLeon of C&C Music Factory. As a recording engineer at a National Commercial Jingle house, David has recorded music and vocals for major commercials with some of the top artists, of their times, in the world, Martha Wash, Michael McDonald, Vickie Sue Robinson, Lisa Lisa, Taylor Dayne, Tito Puente, just to name a few. He has produced music for independent films ranging from orchestral to hip hop. David has recorded instrumentation, vocals and mixed several albums for artists ranging from pop rock to Christian pop.

Through the years of working with professional, established artists, David has found himself wanting to help new artists create completed versions of their song ideas. Every artist has to start somewhere. Writing songs is obviously the first step but recognizing the potential direction and producing a song including arrangement, instrumentation, lyric revamping and vocal production is a large task for a beginner. That is where Noise Controller comes in...

He spends time with you determining what musical direction is most likely the best option based on your style and where you fit into the current musical climate, also taking into consideration what you want as a direction. He will review your song ideas and recommend the best option(s) for development. He will work on your lyric revisions to create a solid song(s). David fully produces a musical track for you which includes a collaboration of musicians and other song writers to complete an arrangement that is genre correct and produced to perfection. David & the Artist will then get together and record a flawless lead vocal and create appropriate group vocals that will fill out your arrangement professionally. He then will complete the process with a final mix and if you have bigger plans and want to be seen as well as heard, you can produce a music video to accompany your new song production.
