Why Moments Like These Mean So Much

As I was flipping through a recent playbill, I noticed something that completely caught me off guard. Two of our students had mentioned Elisa Girlando Studios in their bios.

It may seem like a small detail, but to me, it meant everything.

What makes it so special is that these students chose to include the studio entirely on their own. They weren’t asked to, encouraged to, or reminded to. They simply felt that Elisa Girlando Studios was an important part of their journey, and they wanted to recognize that.

I can't fully explain the feeling that gives me. It’s incredibly emotional.

When I started this studio, my goal was always to create a place where students could grow as performers while feeling supported, encouraged, and valued. Over the years, that vision has become a reality thanks to our amazing team of teachers and the dedication of Paige, who helps make so much of what we do possible.

Watching our students develop their talents is rewarding enough. But seeing them gain confidence, discover who they are, build lasting friendships, and achieve incredible accomplishments both on and off the stage is what truly makes this work meaningful.

To know that the studio has had such a positive impact on their lives that they choose to include us as part of their story is one of the greatest compliments we could ever receive.

Moments like these serve as a reminder of why we do what we do. Every lesson, rehearsal, performance, and conversation matters. We are so proud of all of our students and grateful to be a small part of their journeys.
