Meet Avalon Christie! Avalon is a versatile performer and acting coach with a diverse array of strengths and interests. Specializing in general scene study for film, television, and theater, she incorporates elements of games, clowning, improv, and play to foster creativity and unlock the imagination. With a keen focus on conditioning the acting instrument for performance, Avalon provides guidance in voice, speech, movement, and cultivating ease on stage.

In addition to her expertise in scene study and performance conditioning, Avalon offers professional audition coaching for theater, film, television, and college programs. Her personalized approach helps actors refine their audition material and navigate industry auditions with confidence. Avalon also specializes in guiding actors through self-tape auditions, providing tips and techniques to create compelling and professional audition tapes that stand out to casting directors.

Avalon holds an MFA in Acting from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts (2023), building upon her foundation in Acting from Fordham University's Theatre Program (2019). She also enriched her training with a transformative semester at the Moscow Art Theatre in 2017.
